Amanda and Guy tied the knot with a southern wedding surrounded by those they love. Preparations began in Amanda’s home, with her sweet friends watching as she got ready to marry her sweetheart. Amanda chose a gorgeous Lazaro gown from Something Blue Bridal in Orlando and did she ever rock that dress. She was simply stunning! The blues, greens and creams were a beautiful palette and added such charm to their special day.

Amanda’s family builds wooden citrus ladders, so I couldn’t resist capturing some of her details on one propped up against a big oak tree in their back yard.

As soon as I arrived at the Abbott home, this adorable little flower girl was all about the camera! She was also all about the lip gloss and sneaking a kiss from the bride!

I love a wedding with a little tradition too! These pearls belonged to Amanda’s great grandmother and have been worn in family weddings over the years. Her grandfather came over to put them on his beautiful granddaughter. The tears started flowing as he chatted with Amanda about his desire to see her happy for the rest of her life with Guy. These are the moments that I adore; for they are the memories carried in the hearts of all of those who are honored enough to be there to watch them unfold.

Need ideas on how to bribe a ring bearer?

It’s been awhile since I’ve seen a couple with a birdseed exit…the way it used to always be done.

Those guests rather enjoyed it! Can you tell?!

Simply stunning.

One of my favorites of the day!

Amanda and Guy chose a barn for their reception, to continue the southern theme. These 7 cakes were adorable with their unique flavors and individual decorations.

Couldn’t resist this serious guest! A huge plate with a big piece of steak! That’s my kind of kid!

Normally, I don’t make it in the wedding blog posts, but this was such a sweet surprise, I had to include it! Emily and Holly were actually my flower girls, 9 years ago! It’s hard to believe that now they’re all grown up! I had no idea they would be at this wedding. The groom was actually the ring bearer in their parent’s wedding…small world indeed! Love these girls and the beautiful ladies they have become!

Some sweet dances followed after a delicious buffet.

And then the party started!

Love this shot- one of my all time favorite dancing images to date!
