I love meeting seniors that are different. You know, the kind of different you can sense as soon as you meet them. The kind of individual who is refreshing to be around, with a thoughtful and considerate disposition- one who is authentic.
Let me introduce you to Zach, a high school senior, who is all those things.
This morning, along with his dad and dog Champ, he braved these random frigid Florida temperatures!
And side note: don’t underestimate the value of the term brave!
It was the kind of wind that just about takes your breath away, but we persevered and I’m so glad we did!
Zach, who loves to hang out at the ball field and church, will soon be headed off on a full scholarship to play baseball at the State College of Florida, where he will pursue a business degree in Economics and/or Finance. So it seemed only fitting that we would start off our morning in the dug out- followed by a few other random locations that sealed the deal.
