amanda + adem’s wedding story \\ largo wedding photographer

If there is one thing that comes to mind when I think about Amanda and Adem’s beautiful wedding, it’s the word “others.”
You see, these two had such a precious perspective on their wedding day. They soaked in the moments, surrounded by those they love the most. There were tender moments and tears shed with family and friends from beginning to end. It was a day full of joy and beauty, but also a day where they spent a great deal of their time making sure others were loved on, taken care of, appreciated and honored. Just before they slipped away on their honeymoon, Amanda hugged her husband in a sea of bubbles, with tears streaming down her cheeks and then turned to her guests and offered one last thank you to those who had spent the day celebrating this new chapter in their life. But what happened next is something I’ve never seen- these two went back around and hugged every neck.
Sacrificial. Considerate. Genuine. Authentic.
That’s what I’ll always remember about these two and this day.
What a lovely way to begin a life together.

Amanda and Adem chose the lovely Bayou Club as their backdrop. With petal pink dresses on her bridesmaids and stunning pastel bouquets, the color tone was set. It was a perfect pair for the greens of the golf course during their charming outdoor ceremony. Amanda slipped into her gown with her mom and sister by her side and her great grandmother’s brooch fastened in her curls. She was simply breathtaking and left both her father and her new husband speechless.
Amanda and Adem wrote their own touching vows and brought many of their guests to tears with their promises of commitment and their words of adoration. It was such a sweet ceremony!
They celebrated with an amazing reception that incorporated both florals and goldfish! It was a surprising, but incredible combination that made the room uniquely their own. Before the newlyweds left, guests were invited to take fortune cookies that contained the same message Adem discovered inside of his own, on his first date with Amanda.

What a perfect day. What a perfect couple!

Amanda and Adem, We are so honored that you chose us to capture your incredibly special day!  It was marvelous from beginning to end and we pray the same for your marriage. May it be even more delightful than you could have ever imagined. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Telci!

erin + eric’s engagement story \\ tampa engagement photographer

It doesn’t seem like all that much time has passed since this lovely lady was in front of my lens for her senior portraits. But the years have brought new memories her way and new seasons to celebrate; and I’m so very honored that I get to capture them!

Erin and Eric have been together for six years (SIX YEARS!) and this Fall, they’ll become husband and wife. What an adventure they have already experienced, but as they step into the journey of marriage I know an even greater story is yet to be written.

Here’s to each new page and each new chapter, filled with incredible memories and an enduring love!

Congratulations Erin and Eric! We can’t wait to capture your beautiful wedding story!

Starr Shirley - Such a beautiful couple, love you both!

welcome to the world ryals \\ tampa newborn photographer

Oh how I love this family so very much. I mean, dearly love them.
We were there when their family was established, one lovely Tallahassee day and we’ve watched their tribe increase over the years. I was thrilled beyond measure to hear that their sweet new blessing was going to be a precious little girl and knew that she would be just as darling as her big brothers!
Beautiful Ryals made her debut while we were out of town on Christmas break and she stole my heart with the first little glimpse I got of her from my computer.
But meeting her in person, well my heart melted a thousand times over.
She has the sweetest disposition, the most darling little cheeks and when those big eyes met mine, yep- I turned to mush.

There’s just nothing like a new life- all the wonder, the adventure, the possibility.
What a glorious gift from God!

Kristina and Clayton, thank you for opening your home and trusting me to capture this incredible season in your lives. My heart swells every time I’m with you, as I see the Lord writing such amazing new chapters in your story. It is always an honor to spend time with you both.

And sweet Ryals, I pray all your days are filled with joy and that you grow to know The One who loves you most!

Dee - These are beautiful

brianna + matthew’s wedding story // tampa wedding photographer

Months and months ago, when I first sat with Brianna and Matthew over a cup of coffee, I knew their day was going to be so special. We connected on so many levels with our own love stories and I simply couldn’t wait for their big day to unfold. They had a vision that went beyond themselves and it made me think about these conversations that Rahul and I had with our mentors some 15 years ago. Instead of just a wedding, they desired for their day to be a reflection of Christ and the hope they have found in Him. It was more than exchanging rings, it was making a covenant. It was more than stunning florals- and they were stunning, and so much more than a breathtaking dress. Brianna and Matthew wanted everything to be done with purpose and attention to details that would make lasting impact.

The other thing that literally made tears well up in my eyes, was one decision they made- a decision that my own husband and I had made as well. Brianna and Matthew postponed their honeymoon departure so that they could attend church on Sunday morning with their guests. I had never met anyone else who had made this decision and I knew it was one that they would never regret… because all these years later, we look back and still count that as one of our deepest honors.

These two get it.

They understand that marriage is sacrifice and they have confidently pledged that theirs will be rooted in Christ.

What a beautiful day and what a privilege it was to capture it for them. The story they told was one of love, hope, adoration and commitment. And it is a story worth retelling here…

Such a sweet first look!

Seriously, Brianna was flawless!

the gledhill’s story \\ tampa family photographer

There’s just something about an open field and some pretty sunlight. Add in four (almost 5) of my favorite people ever and you’ve got a recipe for so much sweetness your heart can barely stand it!

Our journey of friendship with this family started years back in Tallahassee when Rahul and I were attending college at FSU; and it has only grown and deepened as the years have slipped by so quickly. Now, this amazing couple, (whom we had the honor of capturing on their wedding day) has a growing family that literally charms you from first glance. It seems like just yesterday Kristina was walking down the aisle to Clayton and now they are fantastic parents to two of the most adorable little guys you’ve ever seen. And I’m betting when their princess joins them, all of our hearts will melt again!

Here’s the beauty of this session… even when toddlers are being toddlers and boys are being boys- there are moments to capture. Precious slivers of time that will be treasured, even when they seem a bit mundane as the shutter clicks. A hug for Mommy, a swing in the air with Daddy, the smirk of a handsome boy, eyelashes resting on chubby cheeks. These are the times we don’t want to forget, for they are the moments that will fill our hearts with memories and joy for years to come!

Sometimes, you have this idea in your mind. A vision for what a moment should be. And then when it plays out differently, you realize what you would have missed if you hadn’t allowed it to just happen on it’s own. See, we were dreaming of snuggles on mommy’s leg, hands on her belly and kisses for their sister. But what we got tells the story so much better. Daddy’s strong hand with big brother’s just resting on top and a hug for his sister, perhaps foretelling of the protection and love this girl will find in them. Then the sweetest little gaze off into the distance, with a lovey in hand reminding us that even though he’s about to be a big brother, he’s still just a little guy himself. It’s a perfect image of what this life is like for Kristina and Clayton during this season and one they’ll be able to remember in a raw and touching way. This is why photography matters. It tells the story of our lives. It gives us the opportunity to remember, to relive and to cherish the things that we might otherwise forget.
And then there’s the glowing mom. Radiant as ever. Waiting so patiently to hold her beautiful girl in her arms.
Oh, Gledhill Family. You are treasured and loved. We look forward with great anticipation at all that God will continue to do in the life of your family!
