The first time I met Ashley and Kenneth the aroma of coffee brewing was in our midst and we sat at a table with wedding album samples spread out everywhere. It was a fun time. I got to know them, listen to their story, hear all about their love; and I was thrilled to catch back up with them for their engagement session. I couldn’t wait to hear all the final details about their special day.
When they stepped in front of my camera, I was blown away. Not one ounce of nervousness, just fabulous smiles and genuine interactions. The way Kenneth held her hand, wrapped her up in his arms, kissed her forehead, caressed her face. It was beautiful. Natural. Refreshing. Authentic. I didn’t have to guide it, encourage it, or ask for it. It just happened.
It was perfection.
It was so easy to see that Ashley, with her curls flowing down and a smile that lit up when her eyes met his, was simply at home in Kenneth’s arms.
This type of love is so amazing to capture. It inspires me, encourages me and challenges me to find ways to document it’s incredible value.
Love looks so good on these two! February 27th can’t come soon enough!
